The Alaka ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Medical Officer to support the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) out of Silver Spring, Maryland.DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring proper disease diagnosis and qualification for study inclusion, assessment and monitoring. Conduct screening history and physical as well as clinical study follow up visits for participants. Consulting with patients as needed. Recommending and ordering tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and tasks. Performing a variety of additional tasks to include protocol review, development, and staff education. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be able to pass NACI for Level III.
